MEMBERS

H2’s global member network consists of senior executives and entrepreneurs at leading startups and global firms, including major Silicon Valley companies, situated in key digital innovation hubs (chapters) around the world. Its member base currently consists of 250+ industry leaders across its 9 global chapters, including Beijing, Berlin, India, London, New York, Sao Paulo, Silicon Valley, Singapore and Tokyo.

MEMBER MODEL

Membership in H2 is on a referral and chapter approval basis only, and members within its trusted network of peers share a common profile, set of benefits, and code. Current H2 members may suggest new members for any chapter globally via our online Global Member Referral Form.

Profile

H2 members contribute back to the network and against its broader mission by leveraging the following:

  • Seniority: strong operating experience at senior management and/or entrepreneur level(s) (Founder/CEO, CxO, VP and equivalent minimum)
  • Expertise: ability to serve as an expert resource for global member network in specific disciplines (as defined by our Domain Map)
  • Entrepreneurial: attraction to new, emerging, and/or growth stage opportunities
  • Global: global orientation and outlook with respect to the industry and opportunities
  • Community: desire to build strong sense of community through all member interactions

Code

H2 through its member code defines a basic set of community “rules of engagement” that is agreed to by all its members:

  • Motivation: engagement driven by strong interest to share and learn within a peer network at an individual level (i.e. vs. transacting at company level)
  • Engagement: active engagement in global member activities, including participation in global chapter events and maintaining current H2 member profile
  • Support: support for peer members within and across chapters when/where possible, including in the context of outreach from co-chairs who may facilitate connections
  • Trust: respect for confidentiality and potentially sensitive information, including adhering to Chatham House Rule at member forums

DOMAIN MAP

H2 employs the concept of a digital domain "map" as a guiding framework for maintaining and developing its member network and informing its operating model. Through its use, our membership can be seen as a valuable source of expert intelligence with coverage across key dimensions and areas of expertise within the digital arena.
