Overview | Past Forums
Held in H2 Chapters throughout the year, H2 Forums convene experienced leaders and participating founders to foster objectives around H2's core global themes of community, learning and support.
Forum Participants
Forum participation is on an invitation only basis and designed for participants affiliated with the H2 community, targeting 15-20 (capped) participants, including the following:
- H2 Members: experienced operators and industry leaders from local H2 Chapter
- Participating Founder(s): invited Founder/CEOs (company profile: Seed and Series A companies)
- Partner(s): collaborating VC, corporate or industry organization(s)
- Guests: invited leaders from local technology community
H2 Forums follow the Chatham House Rule to promote trusted exchange and open conversations and operate on either a self pay or Chapter supported basis. Forum sessions may include participation from Partner organizations (see below).
Framework
Hosted quarterly in each H2 Chapter, the agenda and segments for Chapter Forums (approximately 2 hours in length) are as follows:
- Reception - 30 min
- Welcome - 10 min (participant intros)
- Founder Presentations - 30 min each; 2 sessions per Forum
- Networking - 30 min
Founder Presentations consist of ~20 min of content covering company highlights and the market opportunity followed by ~10 min of discussion including Q&A and group feedback/input. Profiles of participating Founders include Founder/CEOs of Seed and Series A stage companies with participation on a nomination and invitation basis. Post Forum opportunities include support from H2 Global to facilitate relevant introductions where possible and an invitation to participate in H2 Connect.
Founder Nominations
Nominations for participating Founders in any H2 Chapter may be submitted by H2 members, partners and ecosystem organizations at the following link. Qualifying companies include seed and Series A companies backed by leading investors:
Partners & Sponsors
Forums may include collaborations from partner and sponsor organizations around nomination of participating Founders, Guests and/or venue support. Partner organization types typically include the following:
- Corporate: major regional or global corporate
- Investor: local, regional or global fund
- Ecosystem: other ecosystem affiliated organizations (e.g. universities)
