Held in H2 Chapters throughout the year, H2 Forums convene experienced leaders, partner organizations and participating founders to facilitate ecosystem engagement around H2's core themes of community, learning and support.


Forum Participants

Participation in H2 Forums is on an invitation only basis and designed for participants affiliated with the H2 community including the following:

 

  • Operators: H2 members and other experienced leaders from local H2 Chapter
  • Partner(s): collaborating VC, corporate or industry organization(s) 
  • Founder(s): participating Founder/CEOs (company profile: Seed and Series A companies)

H2 Forums are hosted in a small group format (15-20 participants) and follow the Chatham House Rule to promote trusted exchange and open conversations. These events operate on either a self pay or sponsored basis with support from Partner organizations (see below).

 


Event Model 

Our global event model for H2 Forums features the following core segments and an overall runtime of approximately 2 hours:   

 

  • Reception - 30 min
  • Welcome - 10 min (participant intros)
  • Founder Presentations - 30 min each; 2 sessions per Forum 
  • Networking - 30 min

Each Founder Presentation consist of ~20 min of content covering the company's highlights and market opportunity followed by ~10 min of discussion including Q&A and group feedback/input to aid company growth objectives. Post Forum engagement with presenting Founders includes engagement opportnities with H2 Global to facilitate helpful introductions where possible and an invitation to participate in H2 Connect.

 



Partners & Sponsors

Forums may include collaborations from partner and sponsor organizations around nomination of presenting Founders, Guests and other support for events. Partner organization types typically include the following:

 

  • Corporate: major regional or global corporate
  • Investor: local, regional or global fund
  • Ecosystem: other ecosystem affiliated organizations (e.g. universities)
