Profile

• Background: significant operating experience as an executive, entrepreneur and/or investor with strong local context
• Ecosystem: strong interest in engaging with and supporting technology innovation communities both locally and globally
• Network: good first degree relationships with seasoned leaders in local technology and startup communities
• Relationships with leading investors and/or corporates including H2 partners a plus
• Participation in leading investment networks and/or experience as a business angel a plus

Candidate profiles include industry leaders in current operating roles in an executive, entrepreneur or investor capacity as well as those in transition stages including EIRs (entrepreneurs or executives in residence) and exited Founders.

Activities

As members of H2's global leadership team, Chapter Directors will team with Global to provide support for Chapter level activities across the following areas:

• Leadership: mobilize local/global H2 resources to support Chapter activities; serve as internal/external point person for representing Chapter
• Forums: team with Global to support planning of quarterly Chapter Forums including selection of/engagement with Session Hosts (H2 members), Speakers and Partners
• Membership: support the generation/review of H2 member nominations and local/global membership drives

H2's Chapter leadership teams are comprised of two (2) Chapter Directors with complementary profiles per market and supported by one (1) Community Associate per Chapter. Rotations are two (2) years with calendar year staggered rotations. Founding Chapter Directors of new Chapters help establish a strong and diverse founding membership and support Chapter launch activities.
